Lions Outback Vision – Fred Hollows Foundation Fellowship (WA)

Lions Outback Vision offers two Fellows each calendar year, commencing in January.

Lions Outback Vision (based at the Lions Eye Institute in Perth) provides outreach eye care around the regional areas of Western Australia. In addition, urban Indigenous services are provided in Perth.

For Australian qualified applicants, surgical experience in complex cataract surgery is part of the role and management of late presentations of a wide range of ocular pathology. For IMG applicants the role is primarily supporting the vision van and metropolitan services.

Exposure to and experience working with Indigenous and regional and remote patients is a highlight of the fellowship.

This role requires considerable travel to regional hospitals in Western Australia and on the Lions Outback Vision Van.

For further information, please contact A/Prof Angus Turner on angusturner@lei.org.au.

Expressions of interest, including a current CV,  will be received at info@outbackvision.com.au until a suitable candidate is found.

Candidates are required to be registered for practice and based in Australia to be considered.

Only successful applicants will be contacted.
